I am concerned with the direction in which our country is headed. The lack of sound fiscal policy and a disregard of almost every basic tenet of sound financial management is placing a burden on this country whereby future generations will suffer from our lack of stewardship. This concern is the main force driving my campaign.

My wife Becky, our two daughters and I live in Anderson County, near Andersonville and Norris. I am a 1981 graduate of Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and a small business owner. My company, DeVol Millwork, services the residential and commercial construction industry here in East Tennessee.

Becky has recently stepped down as treasurer for the Andersonville Volunteer Fire Department to help with the campaign.
