Andersonville, TN - December 7, 2009 - U.S. Congressional District 3 candidate, Mark DeVol recently signed the
New Contract for America. Similar to the 1994 Contract with America, the current grassroots movement seeks to nationalize the 2010 elections. However, unlike the 1994 movement, which promised specific legislation, the current efforts are looking for a promise that all legislation will be looked at through the lens of the U.S. Constitution.
By signing the New Contract for America, congressional candidates pledge that, if elected, they will do their duty to uphold the Constitution and maintain and support these United States as our forefathers envisioned through the U.S. Constitution.
As one of the first congressional candidates nationwide, and the first congressional candidate in Tennessee to sign, Mark DeVol has indicated his commitment to preserving liberty, capitalism, and the great republic established by our founding fathers.
