Andersonville, TN - January 24, 2010 - U.S. Congressional District 3 candidate Mark DeVol responds to Scott Brown's election to the U.S. Senate.
The recent election of Scott Brown to the U.S. Senate sends a clear message to all politicians that we elect you to
represent our interests in government, not to
decide for us in government.
When our elected officials - State and Federal - swear or affirm to up-hold the U.S. Constitution; where and how do they perceive the authority, under the pretense of taking care of us to force, require, and/or mandate the American people purchase anything?
Governments only authority is to write laws that direct the courts to up-hold for the protection of life, liberty, and property and to
lay and collect taxes which are
uniform throughout and limited to Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution,
Enumerated Powers.
